Made this fun little collaboration with my pal Alex while teaching at Penland School of Craft. An experiment in process, this 20-color (yes 20!) letterpress print was made by overlaying the same color while slowly cutting down my printing block, giving the print this beautiful gradient of overlapping color. This gorgeous ampersand was created by sign painter Alex McClain from Slugger City Sign Co. These prints are approx 11”x18”. Some will have the margin of paper, while others will be trimmed to the edge of the print, both are really cool!
